I use PGP for signing almost all mails, use encryption occasionally
through the Turnpike mail system under Windows, Linux being only a
sideline interest for me (I know, I know, that's heresy but let's not
start an OSwar). 

Turnpike integrates all the PGP functions pretty much automatically.
