Lots of plugs was a selling point of the rooms. No problems.

Definitely - I have lots of contacts at HP but they are mostly
Bracknell, Cupertino and Atlanta - any contacts at Bristol Labs would be
better.

Basically space - I assumed about one table, and a chance to do a short
marketing pitch at the presentations section, I was planning to ask for
about £100 for contribution to costs. Any company contributing money
will end up on the linuxday web site as a sponsor.
